Book Tour Review for Moonshot by Alessandra Torre

MOONSHOT
by ALESSANDRA TORRE

Baseball shouldn't be a game of life and death...

The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase…he started out a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a God yet partied like a Devil.

I tried to stay away. I couldn’t.
Then, the team started losing.
Women started dying.
And everything in my perfect world broke apart.

REVIEW: 4 STARS
"As a teenager, he had corrupted me. As a woman, he had ruined me."

WOW!! This was my second book of Alessandra's and she had me on the edge of my seat until the very end....I literally did NOT figure out the twist in this book! Seriously....shirt clenching, nail-biting, wide-eyed drama.

It goes without saying that Alessandra can write a hot and steamy book with some seriously GOOD angst in it. I really really REALLY enjoyed that aspect of the book. The deliciousness of the forbidden love, the flirting, the salaciousness behind their desire that could not be tamed. I loved this!!!

The love between Chase and Ty is the real deal. I say that, because no matter how much time passes, no matter how many feelings get hurt, no matter the obstacles, their love is the truth behind it all. I love reading about a deep emotional bond between two people and being able to relate to it. Alessandra made this very relatable and believable and TRUE. I loved that this was centered around a sport as well, because it gave us a distraction and a pull back circled around their love.

I *LOVED* this book.....I loved their love. I loved being able to escape into their little world and being wrapped up in their seductive love affair. I loved this HARD.

What I found distracting was the POV change from first person to third person, and back again to first. I was still able to enjoy the book very much, but I found that very distracting in the beginning, but grew accustomed to it a few chapters in. I think that definitely should be noted, along with her writing style being so different, because she does a great job telling a story and getting the emotion across. I can easily recommend this book to anyone and will do so! I will be reading more by her.

"In that moment, it was no longer a choice, but a necessity."
