Book Review: Wicked Ride by Sawyer Bennett

I think this woman may be the death of me. A dire prediction, but probably true.

Probably true because she’s not mine to have and I’ll probably take her, even at the risk to my own safety. So many men slobbering to get a taste of her and only one, sweet, virginal girl to go around.

That’s right.
She’s a virgin.

Looking like a porcelain china doll that would break if not handled carefully. But I also know she’s stronger than she looks.

She’s a contradiction.
She’s most likely my downfall.

Like I said, she’ll probably be the death of me, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.

**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

REVIEW: 4 STARS
"I think this woman may be the death of me. A dire prediction, but probably true."

I know it's well known that Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors, but this series is probably a naughty (or guilty) pleasure to read more than anything else. Can you imagine a playground such as The Silo? I mean, let's be realistic. I think about it often enough....I should be in trouble!

 Hot dance club? Check
A safe and secret silo to indulge in your darkest fantasies? Check
Hot men that know exactly how to take care of you? Check
Unlimited orgasms? Hmmm.....so far, so good. HA!
....aaaaand Bridger. Need I say more?

Logan and Auralie have a 'different' kind of relationship, almost difficult to explain, but you'll understand after you read it what I mean. We got to meet Logan previously because he was a Fantasy Maker at The Silo, along with Rand. But diving into his world through this book was a real treat! He has a sad past that propels his current life and decision processes, and I liked that depth it gave him. The curiosities continued as we got deeper in to his story, while also providing more questions....I didn't stop reading it. I devoured this book. I needed to know what happened to push him to this level of a secluded life that he lived.

Auralie is in a seemingly precarious position, and the way it left off in Wicked Need, I was so curious as to how it was going to play out. I am not entirely sure how I would have handled the TRUTH that she delivered to Logan, but he took it like a champ. ~Because LOVE.~ Their feelings and emotions were tied up in their stolen looks and secret rendezvous. The way they were drawn to each other was other-worldly. To top it all off, Logan was pretty aggressive sexually, which I didn't get from the other stories; probably the most aggressive man I have read from SB, and I liked how it played into his whole background and story. There were times...he 'took' what he needed from Auralie, and I (secretly) kinda liked it!! He was such a good man, real and honest. I was so drawn into the emotions that were displayed in this book.

I have been following this series book by book as I work up to the release of Bridger's story, because after meeting him in Wicked Fall, I knew he had a story to tell. I knew there was something to him. I loved that we got to see a little more of him in this book too, and it solidified my love for him. I think I am in line with every other lady out there that has fallen for him. I want him NOW. *stomps feet*

OMG. Ok. I don't know exactly how to end this review, but I just want to tell you that if you are a Bridger fan to just go to the epilogue and get it over with, or enjoy the anticipation that inevitably comes with reading this from cover to cover. I NEVER tell people to do that....but holy.freaking.cow, that epilogue was EPIC. I kid you not, this epilogue was THE BEST ONE ever from Sawyer and I walked out of my room with wide eyes and freaked out to my husband after promptly messaging Sawyer and asking her "What the fuck are you doing to me!???" I can honestly say that I have been waiting for Bridger since I met him in the very first book, but this teaser at the end of this book messed me up BAD. Like, bad bad. Really bad. I know I can sign off and just leave it at this...

I. Love. Sawyer. Bennett.
