Book Tour for Sugar Rush by Sawyer Bennett

SUGAR RUSH
by SAWYER BENNETT

After posing as an escort for the Sugar Bowl online dating service, Sela Halstead is looking for one thing: payback. She's closing in on the site's heartless founder, Jonathon Townsend, and she needs Beckett North, Townsend's business partner and her lover, by her side. She'd thought that their intimate nights together had forged an unbreakable bond, but after a shocking betrayal, Sela begins to doubt the brilliant bad boy. When push comes to shove, can she trust Beck to do the right thing?

Now that he understands the truth, Beck will stop at nothing to secure the reckoning Sela deserves. But between his desire for her and his disgust for JT, Beck doesn't exactly have a lot of control over his emotional state. Left with no other choice, he must summon all his discipline to maintain JT's trust and pretend that they're still friends. But how far will Beck go to prove his loyalty to Sela? He nearly lost her once. To keep her, Beck might have to kill for her.

Note: Sugar Rush ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck's story concludes in Sugar Free!

REVIEW: 5 HOLDING PATTERN STARS!!!!
"Don't judge me in a place you could never hope to stand. You can never hope to understand what those monsters did to me."

In the throes of anger....we picked up right where we left off. Talk about a deep, but verrrrrry intriguing book!!! This is the SECOND book in the Sugar Bowl series, and it was as promising as the first and just as cliffhangery (IF NOT MORE!!!) as well. My rating should pretty much say it.....holding. pattern. I need more!! I made myself write this review before I jumped into Sugar Rush, because I knew there was NO way I was going to be able to write this review spoiler free if I read it immediately following this one.

I have to mention Beck's inner dialogue with himself....just keep this in mind when you read it. Not only funny, but very insightful as well. I may have giggled and I may have swooned. I.....swoogled? Either way, Beck really made this book what it was. As much as it was about Sela, Beck came back stronger than ever and it was worthy and his role alone was very strong.

So, we all know this ends on a cliffie, but the progress made in this book was SO good. This was a very calculated book.....it was a great addition to the story line and it was nice not having a second book in a series be just a filler. I hate that! So much happened in this one and I loved it!!! Adrenaline pumping goodness at it's best. We learned what happened when Beck shunned Sela and sent her packing at the ending of Sugar Daddy. Beck was blinded by rage, and wasn't thinking clearly at all, but I love how he accepted his mistake and worked through it. We learned a little more about the way everything happened for Sela.....but, the way this book ended!!? I have my theories, but Sela is a S T R O N G woman!!! Seriously.....good.for.her.

And.....c'mon. How can you NOT love Beck? Seriously, he is everything and then some.

"I don't see anything in front of me other than a stunning woman who's body belongs solely to me."
