San Fran Golden Gate Author Event breakdown for The Book Bee

Here is a breakdown of the authors I personally chatted with and got to meet while I was at the San Fran Golden Gate Author Event on June 11th, 2016. There were many more authors, but these ones I got some pics with and got to chat more in depth with.


☆ Rebecca Shea ☆

I got to meet Rebecca Shea!!!! She was the sweetest person and we got to chat a bit at dinner the night before the event. She was all smiles and was having a great time! After chatting with her, I realize I really need to sit down and read her books!

Rebecca is the the USA Today Bestselling author of the Unbreakable series, including: Unbreakable, Undone, and Unforgiven, and the Bound and Broken series, including: Broken by Lies and Bound by Lies, as well as her newest release, Dare Me.

☆ Tillie Cole ☆
Author Tillie Cole is the kind of author you meet and fall in love with immediately!! I originally met her in Portland in July 2015 and immediately bought her books. I still need to read them....but I will!! She is always a hoot and I love listening to her accent. 

She is the author of the Sweet Home Series, The Hades Hangmen Series, and the Scarred Souls Series, as well as the standalone A Thousand Boy Kisses.

☆ Heidi Tretheway ☆

I met Heidi Joy Tretheway a few years ago in Seattle and really liked the sound of her book, Tattoo Thief.....I mean, c'mon! It's about a rockstar! I want to check out more by her soon. She gets her inspiration from her previous 'life' for her rockstars, politicians and chefs. Her books look hot and I think you should check her out!

☆ Vanessa Fewings ☆

I met a *NEW* to me author, Vanessa Fewings. She wrote a series called Enthrall Sessions and I got to briefly chat with her at the bar, the night before the signing. I was walking around the signing the next day and I decided I needed to stop and chat more with her! I got the lowdown on the first book in her Enthrall Sessions and I bought it!! I can't wait to check out this series!!! Oh....and she has a great accent too!!

☆ Adrian Hale ☆

I was recommended to meet and read Adrian R. Hale....so I bounded over to her table, got down on my knees (naughty girl) and chatted with her about her books. She is officially on my TBR now and I will be checking her out. She has two books out, A Taste of Bliss and Drift Heat.

☆ Christina McKnight ☆

I was sitting at the bar chatting with some friends and then, THEN Christina McKnight called me out!! Apparently we met last year, but she was incognito. Christina writes historical romance and I have been itching to check out some more after the ONE I read and LOVED. So, I have to check out her books now.

☆ J Daniels ☆

I am going to scream this loud and proud: I FINALLY GOT TO MEET J DANIELS!!!! Ok? So happy. I've been stalking her since I read about her Dirty Deeds series, and then I picked up her other two series.....but I haven't read them yet. I know, bad girl. I was super excited to put a name to a face and chat with her. She is a sweetheart!!! She called me naughty....hmmm.

J. Daniels is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Sweet Addiction series, the Alabama Summer series, and the upcoming Dirty Deeds series.

☆ Whitney Gracia Williams ☆

Whitney Gracia Williams is so funny!! This isn't the first time I've met her, but I met her because I was getting my friends book signed, and she remembered me from that! She is so sweet! I have read her Reasonable Doubt series and LOVED Andrew! I am anxiously (but patiently) awaiting Turbulence!!

She is a New York Times & USA Today bestselling author of Reasonable Doubt, Sincerely Carter, Sincerely Arizona and the Mid-Life Love series.

☆ Mary Elizabeth ☆

After reading the first book in Mary Elizabeth, Author's Innocents Series, because she was highly recommended to me, I finally finally *finally* got to hug her (many times) this weekend!!! I have loved her YA books, and I don't read YA....AT.ALL. Her words are musical and her stories make you remember when you were younger. She is one of my favorites and I am so glad I have her signature on my iPad now. <3 

She is the bestselling author of Dusty, True Love Way, and Low. She is almost done with Poesy's novella and I am eagerly anticipating that one.

☆ Aleatha Romig ☆

I have purchase MANY of Aleatha Romig's books....but I haven't set down to read them. I think I'm scared. I heard they were dark, but so amazing. I am newer to dark, so I really want to read them!! She signed my book that I won (Into the Light) and chatted with me knowing I haven't read anything yet, and made me very excited to read about Tony. Her husband is a sweetheart too!! 

She is the NYT & USA Today bestselling author of the CONSEQUENCES series, INFIDELITY series, LIGHT series, and INSIDIOUS.

☆ Keri Lake ☆

As I was walking around the signing before it started, I walked up to Keri Lake's table because her covers caught my eye and looked familiar. Come to realize, Ricochet caught my eye when she first released it, but I wasn't following her FB page or on Twitter, so I missed her other releases! Shame on me.

Keri writes dark contemporary, paranormal romance and urban fantasy. Ricochet is a vigilante novel and I am really interested in this one, so I will be checking it out.
