OKAY!!! This book has reminded me why smut really isn't my thing. Not in a bad way, not by any means, but more along the lines of probability and reality. And length....this could have been an UH-mazing book if it were longer and it actually took the time to develop and grow. Instead this was insta-love on fast forward! Hahaha! Things happened that would probably not really happen, but that is why this was just what it was: a smut novella. So I suspended my "belief" for a wee bit while I read this and I am really glad I did! Muy Caliente!!
Was it quick? Yes.
Was it ridiculous? Probably.
Did it make sense? Sure.
Was it bad? Nope.
Was it hot? FUCK. YES.
This book was an easy read that filled some time for me for a night away on vacation. Was it hot? Well, yes. On all accounts, yes. No real depth to it and some things didn't really make a lot of sense and were clearly there for shock value and added 'smut' value, but overall, I will definitely read the next books in this series.....because this was actually a fun, quick, HOT read. And diiiiiirrrty. Simply put, it was a sexy time filler. And Duncan? Well, he was literally sex on a stick.....seriously. Just a walking sexy piece of a man, but his little secret about Kimbra is even better!
If you want something really quick....this book might be for you. Fun, quick and HOT, this book delivered on that promise. Twice. This will take you less than an hour, so if you are in between books or like quickies (*snicker*), then this book will be a great one to sit down and read! So, put aside your 'reality' hat and have some fun while you read this one.
