It started out like any other morning on the train.
Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.
He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.
Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?
Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.
I might have picked it up.
I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.
I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days—until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.
So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.
I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.
I didn’t expect him to text back.
I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn’t expect to fall for him—all before we even met.
The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.
Yet, you know what they say about opposites.
When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

REVIEW: 4.5 STARS
"My life was far from Sex and the City. It was more like Sex and the Pity. Or Sex and the Shitty."
This book made me laugh!!!! Seriously, Vi and Penelope are one of my favorite duos. It's not often you get two amazing authors that stand on their own, AND can also come together so seamlessly to write an amazing book with humor and feelings.
I need to state first and foremost that the banter in this book was probably the best and wittiest banter I have read in a book ALL YEAR!! Hilarious!!! I loved the back and forth witty discussions these two had and I was openly giggling while I was reading this book. This is a one-sitting kind of book because you won't be able to put it down!!! I really really enjoyed this book!
Soraya and Graham's story was a really good mix of a broody, smart ass alpha, a strong willed woman and hilarity, mixed with the perfect amount of honest emotion to suck you right in. The element of fear was widespread in this book in such a healthy way, but the undeniable attraction between these two was apparent from the get go and wasn't something they could just avoid. Graham was IT!!! Hot, sexy and swoony!! Soraya was the perfect woman for him and broke him out of his little comfort zone. This book was positively hilarious. Did I mention how funny it was??
With all the funny, there was some honesty and sincerity in the book as well. I loved the fact that it forced me to think about being in a situation that would have personally thrown me off kilter. Talk about being in a rough spot. It's definitely not one that many women can honestly accept. I really liked looking through the eyes of Soraya with everything that was going on. What an eye opening experience.
And let's not forget Dear Ida.....those posts were so freaking hilarious, I was grinning like the Cheshire Cat! So funny!!!

~MEET VI KEELAND~
Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world.
