First and foremost, this needs to be said: the ease in which Raine tells a story is very evident. This book flowed and I sincerely felt the chills, multiple times, and the cheesiest grins were had. Feeling wrapped up in their passion wasn't difficult at all and she wrote with an intensity that I love seeing. This was all sorts of insta-love done just right for me.

Let's get this out of the way: Caleb left me smiling because he was dreamy. Her words sang his praises.

While her storyline was a fairytale of sorts that I absolutely adored, I want to discuss the characters because that is what I loved about this book. Her characters were brought to life with such depth and personality, they were easily likable and relatable. Having said that; I wasn't in love with Brooke in the beginning, absolutely NONE of her doing, but there was something that didn't allow me to warm up to her immediately. It took me a little bit of time. However, once we "figured out" what was going on with her, I was immediately able to reflect and understand her better. I loved her. I loved her proper English and the way she talked and the way they talked to each other. I loved her demeanor and I loved how she loved Caleb.

Caleb. Caleb, Caleb.....Caleb. He is what dreamy men are made of!!! He made me sigh on multiple occasions. He was the epitome of a strong man. He wasn't, to me, the typical "hardened on the outside, soft on the inside" kinda guy. No. To me he was the softy on the outside, and had a magnificent strength deep within his core. What I mean by that is he was always so aware of what she needed in order to be happy....he projected strength and a sweet, but firm hand to care for her at all times. But deep within his soul, he was protective and over the top, and that was something that he took immense pride in. He was all man and he gave me goosebumps and giggly grins. He was equal parts OTT, kind and caring, sensual and sexy.

The relatability is always huge for me, whether it's characters, storyline or drama. I don't like not being able to relate to the characters and I have to say Raine nailed the cheesiness to Caleb because we ALL know when we first fell in love, our men were giddy just like we were. But Caleb's giddiness had a very masculine strength to the cheesiness....I loved it!! It's how you know it's true love. You say and do the sticky sweet stuff with each other. Raine gave me all that giddy stickiness again...sounds gross, but I know what I mean. HA!!

Raine easily set up the next few books with this one. Excellent, because there are many more stories to be told. I want.....no, I NEED Lucas' story. I need it. What a great book to come out with after being away for a few years....we are all so lucky to be able to read her stories that bring us an intensity in love that we all love to read.
