Once again, Sawyer Bennett has wowed me with her book. I started this book and could NOT put it down. It's no secret I love her work, but this one just felt.....'different'.  Not bad different, but amazing different. This book had so much going on, that it just felt so complete. I know I am not making sense, but when you read a love story, sometimes you don't have a huge story to fully back up everything going on in the book, be it drama, insta-love or action. This book had an amazing plot centered around a case that Leary and Reeve were working, and I was SO caught up in what was going on with that, that it brought their intense affections that much more oomph. The content in this book was not only insanely sexy, but completely riveting as well! 

I felt so invested in this story and felt that the emotions in play were completely justifiable.....even if I didn't like them at some point. There was some real heartache going on in this story, but there was redemption as well. I understood her anger and feelings of betrayal; I saw 'her' side of things. But, on the other hand, I saw his hesitancy and 'his' side of things as well. I could honestly see both sides of the issues. These two characters played SO well off each other, and they were suited for each other. 

Leary was not one to give away her affections.....but Reeve brought something out in her that she didn't know was even possible. Reeve was something else. He was intense and powerful in his dealings, but had a heart to back himself up. I fell completely in love with him and really felt that he was a true man. REAL man. Reeve ranks right up there with Matt and Cal, and that is saying something!! This Legal Affairs series is my favorite of hers and I cannot get enough. This book is going down as one of my favorites. I really enjoyed it!! I can't recommend it enough. Great job!
