Book Review for Sugar Free by Sawyer Bennett

For years Sela Halstead dreamed of revenge, but the quest for payback has been anything but sweet. Now, once again, she finds herself at the mercy of Jonathon Townsend, his hands crushing the very breath from her body. And even though she escapes with her life, Sela fears she may never recover. In desperate need of shelter and comfort, she runs to the one man she can trust. Beckett North has stood by Sela since the beginning. But can he handle the brutal truth?

Beck will do anything to protect what is his—and make no mistake, Sela belongs to him, heart and soul. The passion between them runs hot, even as their world begins to unravel. With the legacy of his ruthless business partner hanging in the balance, Beck stands to lose everything: his fortune, his family, his freedom. But each touch of Sela’s mouth on his skin, her nails down his back, makes it harder to let her go—and it might not even be his choice to make.

REVIEW: 5 CrAzY Plot Twist Stars
"I don't even bother questioning why you came into my life, or the crappy circumstances we were both handed. It was fucking destiny."

If you have been following along with my reviews at all, you will know that THIS book was torture waiting for. Sugar Daddy set the stage for this epic series, and then Sugar Rush added so much to the storyline that I was literally freaking out at the end! I *needed* Sugar Free so bad!!!

Talk about yelling "PLOT TWIST!!!!!" while in the middle of reading a story!! Sugar Free was supposed to be this explosive conclusion to one wild story, and I will admit it was EPIC. Twist after shocking twist, I was literally on the edge of my seat watching as it all unfolded in front of me. I wasn't technically anticipating any twists that came my way because it was written with such clear and easily followed circumstances and dialogue that I just took it turn by turn, but man!!! Once I thought I had it all figured out and then BAM! She threw in such a mind-blowing twist.

I loved Beck after Sugar Rush....LOVED him. If you recall, I swoogled over Beck in my review for Sugar Rush. You can read my review HERE.  But, to be completely honest with you, his strength and resolve in this book just made me weak in the knees!! He is PERFECT!!!! He protected her, no matter what she said or did, and he stood by her. He is the perfect gentleman and knows the *TRUE* meaning of what love is. So swoonworthy. <sigh> OMG....this book.

I love Sawyer Bennett's legal knowledge, and I love that she was able to build this story around a crime and actually make the actions/reactions and fallout legit to the circumstance. This entire storyline was plausible and real, and the legal side of it intrigued me so much. Her Legal Affairs Series is my all time favorite of her this was an added treat to get more of this type of story from her.
